How to Get Referral Partners & Clients Using the Article Call Strategy

If you are looking for new methods of attracting referral partners and clients, consider utilizing the Article Call Strategy. It’s a simple yet powerful way to connect with potential clients and partners, all while creating valuable content.

This strategy allows genuine conversations that build strong relationships. Plus, it’s a win-win for everyone — you provide valuable insights in the form of an article, and in return, you may get referrals or new clients. As a bonus, you build your reputation as an expert in your field.

Using the Article Call Strategy is a great way to boost your network and brand.

1. Preparation

First, go to the Rise25 members page and log in to your account. On your dashboard, find and open the Article Call template. Duplicate the template and update it with the name of the person you will be speaking with and their company name.

Next, we highly recommend you visit their website and/or LinkedIn profile and find a commonality between you two. Doing so will help you build rapport at the beginning of the call.

2. Set up Your Preferred Transcription Tool

Using a tool to transcribe your conversation while the call is ongoing allows you to focus on the conversation without needing to take notes. Our team also requires the transcript to write the article call.

3. Start the Call

After you build rapport, use the script given in your Article Call template to set the agenda. This allows you to share your purpose for the call and the services your company offers.

4. During the Call

Go through the list of questions provided in the template. You can take notes if you’d prefer. At the end of the call ask for referrals and set expectations on when the article will go live. If they show interest in your company or services, offer a free call or audit.

5. Post Call

Fill out the link in the template so our team can proceed with writing the article. Then, send a follow-up email to the person you spoke with using the given template for this email.
